    Dr Kris Parkin

    Kris shares our philosophy on providing excellent patient care. He qualified in the UK in 2014 and moved to Australia in 2018. When he's not planning his next adventure, you can find him sipping coffee at a local cafe or soaking up the sun at Wurtulla beach.

    Kelley is a true country girl from North Qld, but she loves the Sunny Coast life (nearly as much as she loves her 2 dogs). She's wonderful with patients of all ages, especially little ones, and was previously a dental nurse - so she understands how important it is to feel comfortable in the dental chair.

  • We provide a full range of general, cosmetic, restorative and emergency dental services. This includes check-ups, cleans, fillings, crowns, veneers, teeth whitening, teeth straightening (braces & aligners), dental implants, children’s dentistry and more.

  • Yes, Wurtulla Dental is always welcoming new patients. You can book online anytime or give our friendly team a call to schedule your first visit.

  • We aim to accommodate same-day emergency dental care for patients experiencing toothaches, broken teeth, lost fillings, mouth swelling or trauma. Call us first thing in the morning for the best chance of getting a same-day appointment.

  • Absolutely! At Wurtulla Dental, we understand that many patients feel anxious about visiting the dentist. Our friendly team takes a gentle, patient-focused approach to make your experience as comfortable as possible. We explain every step, offer calming techniques and provide a relaxed environment to help nervous patients feel at ease, ensuring your visit is stress-free and positive.

  • Please bring your private health insurance card (if you have one) and a list of medications. All new patients fill out a new patient form, so please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment time for this.

  • A new patient check-up includes a full examination, scale and clean with remineralising polishing paste. Usually, X-rays and photos are also recommended (included in the price) . Our dentists will explain your oral health, answer any questions and discuss any recommended treatments.

  • Yes. We offer flexible payment options and payment plans, so you can spread the cost of treatment over a longer period of time, if necessary.

  • Most general and major dental treatments receive some level of health fund rebate. Your coverage will depend on your provider and policy. We use HICAPS for instant claims. We can also run quotes to see what rebate you may expect for different treatments.

  • We are conveniently located at Shop 8, 56 Moondara Drive, Wurtulla (next to Thai Lotus on Nicklin Way). We’re easily accessable from all surrounding Sunshine Coast suburbs including Currimundi, Bokarina and Kawana.

  • Yes, we offer free, easy onsite parking directly outside the clinic, making your visit stress-free. Access via Moondara Drive.

  • Yes! Wurtulla Dental participates in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), a government initiative that provides eligible children with over $1,000 in dental benefits every 2 year. We can help you check your child’s eligibility and claim directly through the CDBS for services like check-ups, cleans, fillings and more.

  • Yes! Wurtulla Dental participates in the Queensland Government Dental Voucher Scheme, helping eligible patients access essential dental care, which is funded by Queensland Government. Our team can assist you with checking eligibility and using your voucher for treatments such as check-ups, cleans, fluoride treatments, and fillings.
